Tidehaven playoffs Tigers face Marion, while Tigerettes will play Poth

   Tidehaven’s Tigerettes won their bi-district game last week against Marion 9-3 and will advance to the area round against the Poth Pirettes.
  That game will be at 5 p.m. Friday, May 3, in the Cabaniss Athletic Complex in Corpus Christi.
  Tiger baseball will have a best of three playoff series vs. Marion in Weimar.
  The first game will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 2, followed by game 2 at 6 p.m. Friday, May 3, also at Weimar.
  Game 3, if necessary, will follow.
  Tidehaven Athletic Director David Lucio notes that both the Tidehaven softball and baseball teams qualifyiedg for the playoffs. 
  “Tidehaven coaches note the district has the smallest enrollment by far in our district but three of our four teams made the playoffs, following a state championship appearance in football.”
