Bay City, Tidehaven, Van Vleck athletes state bound

   Athletes from Bay City, Tidehaven and Van Vleck will be competing at the state track and field meet in Austin May 2-4, after qualifying at the 3A and 4A  regional meets.
  Two from BCHS include Iris DeWitt in the discuss and Ke’Maurion LeDay in the 400 meter.
  From Tidehaven, Mary Johnson qualified in four categories at regionals - the 200 meter, the high jump, the long jump and the 100 meter.
  Van Vleck’s Emilee Schneider qualified for state in the 800 meter run at regionals.
