After they divorced she remained good friends with him and his wife, Billie Louise throughout their lives.
She lived a wonderful life and was always optimistic no matter the circumstances.
Her passion in life was working.
She started working at the age of 12 and didn’t retire until 80.
She worked for FHA and was a social worker for the state for many years, and she regretted retiring at 80.
She always had a project going on, and never met a stranger.
She loved to visit, be around people, and always had a witty comeback ready to go.
In her younger years she hosted many children’s parties and church functions.
She loved her Bay City and El Campo church family and going to church.
She had many friends in Blessing who she loved dearly and were like family.
At 86, she was still active, visiting people, and driving all around the surrounding counties.
She will be greatly missed, but we know we will see her again someday. John 11:25-26.
A memorial will be announced at a later date.
