   If you’re looking to take advantage of the spring weather this weekend, there are plenty of outdoors events and other opportunities to explore.
  The Texas General Land Office’s annual spring Adopt-A-Beach cleanup will be Saturday, April 20, from 9 a.m. – noon up and down the Texas coast.
  Local check-in starts at 8:30 a.m. at Jetty Park on Matagorda Beach and County Park on Sargent Beach.
  To participate in the Palacios cleanup, head to South Bay Marina on South Bay Blvd.
  Bay City Little League Challenger Baseball’s “Opening Day” ceremony kicks off at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 20, at Bay City Little League fields, 1220 Ave M.
  Games follow the ceremony starting at 10 a.m.
  Bay City Parks and Recreation’s “Rally on the River” will be 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at Riverside Park, 7330 FM 2668 Bay City.
  The event has a river run and clean-up starting at 9 a.m. with games, crafts, activities, and food trucks afterward.
  Entry to the park is free, kayak rentals are $10 per person and are limited.
  Lifejackets must be worn on the river run and campsites are also available to rent.

  Tickets are on sale for the “3rd Annual TresPalacios Speakeasy Gala” at 7 p.m. Saturday, April 20, at the City by the Sea Museum, 401 Commerce St in Palacios.
  Tickets are $75 per person and available at http://givebutter.com/trespolaciosgala.
  Enjoy an evening of live jazz with Todd Sloan and company, a catered 3-course meal, an open bar, a coffee bar, sweet treats, and parlor gambling.
  The funds raised from the 2024 gala will go towards operations including La Petite Belle, educational programming, modifying and expanding exhibits, and preservation of the collection.
  Aggie Muster is set for 6 p.m. Sunday, April 21, at Beneath the Oaks, 1796 State Hwy 71 in Midfield.
